The European Commission has announced a call for proposals to establish 12 new Europe Direct centers in Bulgaria for the 2026–2030 period. These centers aim to enhance citizens' access to information about the European Union, its policies, and initiatives, serving as local hubs for EU-related communication and civic engagement.
Application Deadline: June 19, 2025
Objective: To select organisations capable of hosting and operating Europe Direct centers that function as intermediaries between the EU and the public.
Eligibility: Open to public or private entities, including NGOs, educational institutions, and local authorities.
Funding: Selected organisations receive support for operational costs, staffing, and activities.
